Monument Ave. 10K



Train for the Monument Ave. 10k or any of the spring Half Marathons.  This proven program has guided hundreds of local runners and walkers of all ages to success. Participants will break into groups with others with similar goals and fitness levels. No fitness experience is necessary.

Training will be held on Saturday mornings at 8:30 from January 21 - up to the event date.  Participants will meet at Active Life Fitness Center at 8:30.  Training is held outside on lightly traveled roads.

With your registration you receive a training guide, motivation and coaching to achieve your goals for the race, as well as a Technical running shirt.

Fee:  $35    Active Life Fitness members receive a discount.  $30
(Does not include entry into the events.)

New Kent In Motion Saturday Running and Walking group
Train with the New Kent In Motion Saturday running and walking group.  This informal group meets at Active Life Fitness Center on Saturday mornings year round.  New attendees are always welcome.  Best of all, it's free.  During 10k and Half Marathon Training Team season, the group takes a break to help coach the

Boot Camp
The next session of Boot Camp will begin April 2012.  Check back in March for registration details.
The military style workout is a blend of body-weight and resistance exercises, coupled with cardio intervals and drills.  The class is challenging, but modifications are given for varying fitness levels.  Everyone supports and motivates each other to do their best.
